You have a program installed that is configured to try to connect either to
your home LAN or the Internet every 5 minutes. You'll need to change this
configuration. You may want to look at ActiveSync, you may have "Use mobile
schedule to sync with this PC" checked.

Or you may have Inbox (the mail program) configured to check for mail every
5 minutes.

Or you may have installed a Today program that is configure to check, and
download info from the web every so often.

Generally it is something like this. Without being able to look at your
PocketPC and what programs you have installed, no one can tell you what is
causing it. At best you may find someone who is a good guesser.
