Look at Netuse, Netrunner (both FREE) or Resco File Explorer ($$$) if you need to open files across
the LAN from your PPC. I did use Netuse on my iPAQ 3835 and a D-Link DCF-650W wireless card... I now
use Resco Explorer 2003 on my iPAQ 5555 device.

This presumes you have network shares configured on your desktop(s).

Note, leave the domain field blank if your in a SOHO workgroup environment, which most home users
are...

Additionally you may need to use a different ID than the default "Pocket_PC" for the above to work.
I use "AlPocketPc" for example. NetBIOS does not play well with certain characters in the
name...Look at the "WINS Naming Issues" section of this page...
