When the device is connected to the PC, ActiveSync does not make a connection and therefore the upgrade program will not run.
Have tried all the resets etc.
I have since sent the device back to Expansys for repair.
They are going to repair under warranty.

There is a possibility that putting the device in Bootloader mode will enable you to retry installing the upgrade:.
- Press at the same time both Softkey buttons and soft reset the device while holding them. Hold the two buttons until the bootloader screen appears. Then try to run the upgrade.
If it doesn't help, try to hard-reset - to do this, soft reset while pressing Camera and Comm buttons (two buttons on the left and right at the bottom of the device) soft-reset device. When asked, press left soft-key (YES).
