Just set the retention interval to a shorter period; older messages
automatically drop off the unit at the end of the retention period, so
you're never in jeopardy of running out of memory. I have my PPC-6700 set
to retain Exchange email for 2 weeks.

Until recently I have used a Blackberry and one of the useful functionswas
the ability to delete older emails so that there is no danger to fill upthe
memory. Recently I have moved to Windows Mobile (HP Ipaq) with direct
connection to Exchange.
Is there a way on IPAQ to do the same thing as on Blackberry, that is to
have the ability to delete older emails on handheld but leave them in
Exchange so I can still see them with Outlook on my laptop?
