Dialer in Windows Mobile 6?

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I just installed Windows Mobile 6 on my PDA. This is definitely a VoIP
program and there is also a program in the programs folder on the PDA called
SIP Configuration. When I enter info in it, the VoIP provider reports that
the phone registers on their network!

The PDA can also receive calls though there is some question as to whether I
can hear the voice on the earpiece. The provider does report that they can
hear me speaking.

However what I cannot understand is how you dial a call on this VoIP
service! Is there a dialer in Windows Mobile 6? Or an add-on dialer
utility? Or even a third party program?

I have tried SJ Phone which installs properly but then reports NAT/FIREWALL
BLOCKED on its screen. No one seems to know how to get rid of this report,
no setting changes it, the message has the provider stumped and there is
definitely no firewall on the PDA. it may be something to do with all the
questions on the SJ Phone forum asking when it will be ready for Windows
Mobile 6, to which the company reports "definitely sometime soon". I also
tried GoSip which also installs on the PDA but then can't register. It
seems to be registering with GoSip themselves but they return the error
message that the registration failed initialisation. There is also a
curious quirk to this program which is that they designate you a password to
that they can register you as a registered user but don't seem to need it
for their registration, - there is nowhere to enter it!

Even more curiously I tried x-lite from Counterpath, which was a truly
unique experience in computing. They run a forum for their software for
users to ask questions about it and put you through a whole registration
process to get onto it. When I asked the simple question "How do I enter the
settings" for x-lite, I got what must be the ultimate tech-speak DUH from
the company: COUNTERPATH ACTUALLY EMPLOYS SOMEONE TO SAY THEY DON'T KNOW!
CounterPath don't know how to get to the settings screen on their own
software which you download from their own site!

Does anyone know if there is any available software which doesn't fall into
the Mickey Mouse category which installs a dialer in Windows Mobile 6
please?
