Synch with Vista at Home and AS 4.2 at Work a Problem?

I'm about to build myself a new PC for home with dual core and all the
gubbins. At a recent Microsoft demo day they were kind enough to give
me a Vista Ultimate Edition 32bit that I've not installed yet as
current machine not up to it.

I have an XDA Orbit Pocket PC that I sync at home and work. Currently
AS 4.2 at home and work, Win2000 at work, XP Home at home. All syncs
just fine.

If I install the Vista on my new home machine (when parts arrive and I
build it), and I use the Vista Windows Mobile Device Center at home,
and AS 4.2. at work, and I likely to hit any synching issues, and if
so what (if any) are the work around's please?

    ... I don't have access to another machine with Vista so I can not check WMDC, but I daily sync with the same smartphone at my office with a desktop running Xp Pro and using BT. ... yes I did install Real Player but don't see what that would do with my problem. ...
