I had to do a hard reset of my Pocket PC and then restore from a recent backup.
Now when I try to send an SMS the SMS and ActiveSync directories appear to
be swapped around. New SMS messages appear in the ActiveSync directory as if
they are emails waiting to go (but I have not configured email so they are
never sent).
I carefully select the correct option (SMS) yet each time they appear in the
wrong directory. The SMS Outbox shows 3 pending messages yet the directory is
empty. I open the ActiveSync Outbox (which shows there are no new messages)
and there inside are the 3 pending SMS messages. How do I unscramble this
mess?
Hard reset again and rebuild from scratch. Or, if you have a backup program
that allows selective restores, then hard reset and restore everything
except email/SMS/MMS.
