the i730 runs wm5 and I don't know if samsung has released any rom upgrades... check their site or call samsung tech support.

IE is part of the os and the version simply reflects the os department's assumption of the pocket browser's equivalent on the pc... it is not upgradable and you have the "latest" so, you need to ask specific questions relating to the problems you are having... for example, only limited java support, small screen size, etc.

A compatible (and free) version of outlook came with your device on the companion cd (hope you didn't toss the cd or the activation key) Most versions of Outlook 200x or later will work, but that may have changed a bit with AS4... check the cd to see the version number and if your's is the same or newer, use what you have. (Note "Outlook Express" is _not_ outlook and will not work with activesync)
