Obviously, the device is working on different segment of network against my
local network of 192.168.0.1/254. How can both the Windows Mobile device
and my pc connected thru?

It is your Windows Mobile device connecting.
The DHCP server is on the device.
The connection is working correctly.

With O2 Atom connected to pc using ActiveSync, there is Local Area
Connection 3. It is 10 MHz speed and the ip is 169.254.2.2, subnet mask
is 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway is 169.254.2.1. It is marked
from DHCP server. What is this and where is the DHCP server? Is it
working correctly?
Thanks,
Scott
