Question(s) on UTStarcom/Sprint 6700

Does anyone know if the device is USB 2.0, or is it a USB 1.1? Can you use
the GPS that's built into it for anything useful, or is it just for
emergency usage?

I'm looking at replacing an older IPAQ with one of these units from Telus
(up in Canada), and I'm wondering what others who have made a similar move
have thought? It's a much smaller unit (and screen) than my IPAQ, which
seems like it might suck.

Has anyone found some good cases for it? I've got a hard plastic case for
my IPAQ, which is nice for protecting the screen. My desk is a mess, so
things are always getting set on top of things like phones and PDA's. :)

I wasn't really looking for the EVDO networkability. Actually, to be more
accurate, I'm not really looking for paying the price of a useful EVDO
network account. Does the wireless network seem to work quite well?

Any thoughts on battery life on these units? I've heard mixed reviews, and
it seems that people coming from a cell phone think it sucks, and people
coming from a PDA think it's good. Since I'm coming from the PDA, and I use
the cell phone rarely, I think it should meet my needs. How much extra life
does the extended battery get?

Any thoughts on a good inexpensive BT headset? I don't really want to spend
$200 on that, but it would be nice to have something besides the wired one.

Can anyone say that the device has the higher powered IRDA connection, so it
would be useful as a remote? That would REALLY be cool.

Finally, a message to MS regarding ActiveSync 4.x and wireless sync'ing.
While I understand the desire to protect corporate data and security,
there's some magical things called "Group Policies". Rather than just
removing functionality, it might be an idea to make it possible to
enable/disable this at an enterprise level.
