iMate Pocket PC

I have an I-Mate Pocket PC Phone Edition I purchased second hand via ebay.
Its been working find, and its not locked to a particular service Provider.
I've just enabled GPRS with Vodafone, (my Phone service Provider in
Australia) and I'm discovering some interesting problems. The Phone must
have been originally sold by Telstra Australia, as its default Background is
Telstra, and the Email and components of the Internet setup mention Telstra,
and dosent seem to give me any options to change these. Ie, the email setup
only gives me the username part of the field to fill in, with the rest of
the email address locked to "@telstra.com" and there is no configuration for
POP and SMTP setting anywhere I can find (presumably these are hard coded to
Telstras service also).
I need to know if there is anyway of setting this all completely back to
defaults (manufacturer defaults, without the "Telstra bastardisations".
There Telstra "Enhancements" (lol) are in the ROM, so a reset to factory
defaults does not fix the problem. Is there a vanila "Configurable" version
of Win 2003 for the Pocket PC I can download / buy from somewhere so I can
setup the Internet to use any GMS / GPRS supplier?

Failing this, is there some software I can install that will give me the
flexability of setup I require?
ie some third party GPRS Connection / email setup so I can connect to my
home office email server etc...?

Thanks... Philip Middleton
