I also considered the 6315 a POS until about 30 days ago. That was when
HP/T-Mobile released the ROM update that should have been there from the
beginning. Now the gadget does pretty much what it says it does.

Google is one of the mobile friendliest web sites anywhere. It
auto-detected I was on a Palm/PocketPC and redirected me to the correct page
automagically. I was able to get to the login screen with no problems but
there are known issues with gmail on pocket IE. If nothing else, demand a
hands-on demonstration and try it yourself.
