I'm still not having any luck. However, now, at least, I'm getting a little
"further"... Now, it things about it for a while and then pops up to dialog
boxes suggesting that either the drive is not available or that I do not
have permission to access it. In some ways that makes sense because I do,
of course, have it password protected -- however, it never gives me an
option to enter an ID or PW. I guess I need to start back from scratch and
figure out how to get this working. If you know of a resource that provides
all the ins and outs of this, please pass on the link. Maybe my problem is
actually on the PC side, but I do not know how to figure that out. For
example, both machines I've tested it on are WinXP Prof, with relatively
recent installs. One of them was formerly a WinXP Home machine before I
flushed it. Pre-flush on the WinXP home machine is the one I had no trouble
connecting to in the past (not sure I tried it on the other on the old
device). Thanks!
Jim
