OK let me rephrase what I mean by pulled :
In WMP Beta1 / 2, the Axim was quite happily detected as a device, and
sync could be achieved to the device memory, storage card or ROM.
In WMP RTM, the player reports "this device is out of date and has no
device driver available to use". Installing the diseased ActiveSync4
didn't result in any improvement. We were stiffed ;-)
It's rather like taking a ferrari for a test drive for a week,
ordering it then getting a porsche delivered instead **
It's not what you gained the driving experience on, and what persuaded
you to install it in your garage - the delivery was all wrong.
** Not that I'd know what either of those is like ;-)

Sync support wasn't pulled in the final version, it just stopped working.------------------------------------------------
As I stated, I can sync my device with WMP 11 at work, but not at home.
The only difference being that I had the beta installed at home but I never
installed the beta at work.

I was using WMP 11 Beta 2 to sync with my Dell Axim x51v. When I
installed
the final version of WMP 11 it will no longer will detect my Axim.
I can take my Axim to work and WMP 11 Final to connect to my device with
no
problems, but I never installed the beta at work.
Has anybody else had sync problems when upgrading from the beta?
Yes, and you're right, we were stiffed ;-p
Unless the device manfacturer releases an update, there's no way I can
see right now to get it to sync apart from rolling back to WMP10.
You might try SyncToy instead

Or use another player, like Real Player, which does support PPC
devices. I've got an X3i and the same scenario - Beta worked OK, final
release and sync support was pulled. You can imagine my delight.
