Well, if you select Pocket PC as the target, the wizard gives you two
choices for audio - Voice Quality and CD Quality - which did you
choose? If you chose Voice, then the audio will be low bitrate and
therefore low quality. If you chose CD quality, and the source is high
quality, then you should get around CD quality output. If you chose CD
quality and the audio still came out distorted, then probably WM
Encoder is having trouble with the audio stream in that particular
file, and no settings you choose will fix that.
There is no one specific setting for Pocket PC, which is why there is
no simple answer to your question. You can choose from a number of
codecs and a range of bitrates that will work on Pocket PC, depending
on what you want to acheive. But if the CD quality preset in the
wizard doesn't result in good quality audio, then you have other
problems.
