There are two different standards for 'PCMCIA' cards. Only one is
essentially compatible with the CF standard which makes your adapter
possible. Likely the USB card is of the other standard and isn't supported
by the adapter. I don't recall the specifics but it has to do with Cardbus
vs PCMCIA and 32bit and stuff like that.
