Thank you, Sven!!
You totally explained the problem I'm having: WMP 10 on my desktop, WMP 9 on
my pocket PC. If I download to my SD card, the licenses are lost. If I
download to my Pocket PC's hard drive, the licenses are intact, but if I try
to transfer the files to the storage card, the licenses are gone again. I
suppose, for now, I'll try the MP3 tactic that you suggested. I was able to
sync non-DRM files to the storage card without a problem. Do you suppose
they'll offer a WMP 10 upgrade for the 3800 series Pocket PCs anytime soon?
Thanks again-- the info you provided saved me the $35 "support" fee! Candace
