Job opening in mobile phone health technology research at MIT

I’m looking for two people to join a multi-disciplinary team
developing and testing sensor-driven, persuasive mobile phone
interfaces for health promotion. Both positions offer interesting
opportunities for research in sensor-enabled, mobile health
technologies, as a part of a large multi-university and multi-
disciplinary project that will conclude with a randomized clinical
trial of the technology that we design and build (in several quick
iterations).

The ideal candidate would have prior experience writing sophisticated,
database-backed software for sensor-enabled mobile devices and enjoy
fast-paced iterative design and testing of mobile prototypes in a
research environment. Experience with pattern recognition, HCI design,
participatory design, persuasive interfaces, and/or evaluation of
health technologies is a big plus.
