WCF Exchange Server Mail Transport + non exchange server email address on the device

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi all,
I am developing a communication module for an application using WCF
exchange server mail transport. The applications runs on windows
mobile devices (both pocket pc and smart phone), and it allows the
user to send text files and objects bidirectionally between the server
and the devices.
So far, everything works perfect, but I have this idea of having an
endpoint (on the device) using a non exchange server email address
such as jc@xxxxxxxxxxx or jc@xxxxxxxx This will make the application
more flexible and scalable.

Now, I set up the device with the hotmail account (I also tryed with
gmail) and everything seems to work; the emails are sent but on the
server side they are not beeing processed, instead they are moved from
the Service E-Mail folder (where they arrive) to the deleted items
folder.
And in the server application the InputChannel.Receive() method is not
even returning a null message, it is blocked there as if there where
no message at all.

I did compare a set of messages, some that where sent using an
exchange server account and some that where sent using the non
exchange server account (hotmail, gmail) but I can't find any
difference between them.

I've been trying to solve this for a while now, and I can't figure it
out.
Does anyone have an idea to solve this?
Have anyone done this before? how?

thank you very much, for the attention and for your help.

Juan Camilo
