Hi Again,
It has just occured to me that maybe I am chasing the wrong problem. the
problem as I see it is to do with renewing the USB connection. Is there a way
of disconnecting / reconnecting this without physically disconnecting the
cable? this will then have the same effect by creating the noticication that
refires repllog without me needing to.
thanks,
Freg

Hi All,.
I would appreciate any help with this issue, as Ive been looking for a full
explanation of this question for some time, but have yet to find a definitive
answer.
I am looking for a way to disconnect the AS connection between a WM device
and a desktop while the device is cabled, then at a specific time reconnect
it without having to physically disconnect / reconnect the cable.
I have been successful with disconnecting by terminating the the rapiclnt
process, but have been totally unable to reconnect, without physically
disconnecting / reconnecting the cable. From my understanding, all this cable
reconnect does is fire a notification that attempts to run repllog, but all
my attempts to run this directly from a CreateProcess fail with remote
networking errors. I have also tried terminating repllog as well as rapiclnt,
but to no effect. I have tried various arguments witht he repllog
CreateProcess, including none, AppRunAtRs232Detect, AppRunAfterTimeChange.
nothing seems to work.
Thanks,
freg
