I would think the firewall of your wifi-router blocks the specific udp-
port. You should be able to correct that.

I did not use wifi to send the UDP packets. I used GPRS interface to
do so. This works fine when wifi is OFF, but when wifi is ON, we
cannot send any UDP packets. Moreover, I can also send the UDP packets
using wifi, and hence, there should not be any issues with the wifi-
router or port blocking. Do you have any other ideas? Did you try to
run the same test on your device?
