I have three different machines here, and they need three different (very
different) programs to run a serial-over-bluetooth app. I also have two
which don't work properly with bluetooth at all. One is a V1640 which has a
firmware (probably a bug in the MS original build kit) problems with
bluetooth, and another which was so far duff I threw it in the bin, in a fit
of pique. And what I am doing, bluetooth-over-serial is so bog-standard
you'd think they'd all work the same.

One day, all PDAs will be the same-ish, like all PC's are the same-ish, if
they're not made by someone like HP and fitted with all very slightly
different bolt-ons.

HTH :-)

Uncle Marvo,

Could you please enlighten those of us who are less than Marvelous,
what you mean by your somewhat cryptic comment?

I'd
say you should seriously consider writeing the app to be device
agnostic so it would target anything.
