pocketpc emulator - storage memory critically low

hi all,
i'm using visual studio 2005 with the "windows mobile 5 pocket pc
sdk".
i repeatedly get a "storage memory is critically low" message.
I can change the size of the RAM in the emulator settings, but that
doesn't have any effect on the "storage" size, which seems to be
limited to 32 MB.
does anyone have a clue on how to increase it ? (the ms knowledge base
didn't help :-/)
