Hi we've been running VS2003 for a while with no problems on an O2 exec, IIi
and IIs and have now chnaged to an O2 Orbit (HTC Artemis - which is WM5) Our
program still runs if executed from the PPC but won't run through VS2003 in
debug mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be?
I have never even tried VS 2003, so I may be off, but:
I know the eVC 3 IDE is very fussy about platform mismatches; it will
not allow debugging unless the target platform (specified while
building) matches the actual platform of the device. I also know eVC 4
is a little less fussy; it at least sometimes gives the user a choice
when the platforms don't match. I'm pretty sure VS 2003 doesn't
support any SDK for WM 5, so you're probably targeting AWM 2003. So
maybe VS 2003 won't support the mismatch when the actual target is WM
5.
Thanks
