Hello,

I've downloaded the Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK but I'm having trouble
installing it.

I get an error message that says:

"Software development tools required to use this SDK for application
development are not installed on this workstation. Before trying to run
the Setup Wizard again, verify that the required software is installed.
To determine which software development tools are required, see the
Microsoft Web site at

However, I'm sure I've got all the required software mentioned on the
website already installed.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Version 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200)
[Standard Edition]
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0.50727
Microsoft ActiveSync Version 4.2.0 [Build 4876]

I'd appreciate some help resolving this issue, please.

I believe the Professional version of VS 2005 is needed. Not 100% sure on
that, but that is what memory serves.
