Hi,
Have you tried Sybase Ultralite ? Please visit for details:
http://www.sybase.com/developer/mobile/sqlanywhere/ultralite
It is easy to deploy and can be synchronized with MSSQL, Oracle and
Sybase ASA as well. We have deployed one of the solutions using Sybase
Ultralite which synchronizes with MSSQL using Mobilink.

I would like to know what is the best db engine for WM5? I am currently
using C#, SQL Server Mobile, and CF2. I don't like the large installation
required for CF2 and SQL Server 2005 Mobile and I am looking for something
smaller with similar capabilities. Would like to use Mobile Access, but
that is a dead end road. Looked into EDB, but there is not a lot of helpful
documentation available.
Does anyone have experience with eSQL ( http://www.vieka.com/eSQL.htm )? Or
what about db40 ( http://www.db4o.com/about/productinformation/ )?
Would XML be a viable option, or would it be to slow for large database
apps?
Thanks
.
