Re: Pocket PC - Windows Startup issue - Posting 3rd time :((

The folks who provide answers here are almost always volunteers, and
at least some check less than once per day. So you should never expect
an answer in less than 24 hours. Longer around holidays or for more
difficult questions. Posting multiple times, especially in new
threads, is neither helpful nor appropriate.

Of course, you _will_at least occasionally be surprised by a faster
response.

Hi,

My pocket PC takes the IP address from my DHCP server.

I have kept one executable in \Windows\Startup folder. This
executable accesses the network to get some details.

Now this executable is getting executed before the device gets the IP
address and hence fails. How can I delay the execuation of this till
network is accessible.

It's running on Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.

TIA,

Best Regards,
Sanjeev
