I have heard about using code obfuscation, like you would do in Java. But
from what I read, it only makes it more difficult to read, it doesn't
actually prevent it. My understanding is that a de-compiler would output
less readable code, but it would still be code in the source language.
My other problem is that not all our users have modern PDAs that include the
CLR, so they would have a hefty download before being able to use our
software. If I write in evc, that's not the case.
Of course the other thing putting me off is the cost, but that's an argument
for another place.
