Hi,
I haven't seen this.
However (and this is just IMO), I never turn the port off and on in
succession. I leave the port open for as long as I'm going to be using it,
then close it. In general, this means that I open the port when I start the
application, and close it when I exit. The reason? Opening and closing a
serial port is an expensive operation -- that is, it takes lots of time as
compared to other sorts of things.
You don't have to close and reopen the port to change the serial speed, so
why do it (especially, if it hurts)?
