Re: Develop applications for next Windows Mobile versions...

Darren,

We develop WinCE handheld motherboards. Most of our development is
Win32 in C or C++ using eVC 4.x.

I am trying to create a WinCE c++ test app using VS2005 beta2. When I
try to create a new project using C++ I only have Smart Device as an
option. When I try to change the target device or solution platform,
our SDK does not show up as an available option.

However, if I create a new C# project, Win CE 5.0 is listed under Smart
Device and our SDK is available.

I'm told that VS2005 will support native Win32 C and C++ apps, but I'm
having a hard time getting started.

Does VS2005 indeed support Win32 C and C++ apps for WinCE?

Thanks,

Mike
