If you're referring to the environment variable that lists paths to be
searched, then I think Windows CE does not support it. Windows CE has
a very limited concept of "search path". I believe the entire set is:
root on storage card
root in main memory
\windows
folder containing "caller"
I _think_ this list applies only when searching for DLLs. I know the
whole list for help files is
\windows
If such a list exists for executables, I'm quite sure it does _not_
include
current directory

Windows CE definitely does not support relative paths. And I'm quite
sure it does not support a search list for executables (see above). So
I'm quite sure absolute/whole paths are always required.
