Thanks for the information. I feel like I have some reading to do.
:-) And I try your suggestions.
The odd thing is that when I call WaitForSingleObject in my code it
doesn't appear to lock up. It returns the error code (whatever it is)
immediately regardless of how long I set the wait time to.
Anyway, I have heard of OpenNETCF.Desktop.Communication. I've
gotten the impression that there's a little less code and that some of
connections issues are handled in functions provided by the dll. But
I'll take a look. I've obviously been going down the wrong road. I
suppose, from what you're saying, that I've been trying to use code for
vb6 or some other non-managed code environment.
