Strange connectivity problem

Hello all
I'm experiencing some problems to send large mails from my Qtek S100 PDA. I
do reach my corporate smtp server trough a GPRS based VPN connection (using
Ms VPN client included in the Windows Mobile 2003 SE O.S.).
The server works fine for pop, and also for smtp if there are no attachs
included or the mail is short (maybe less than a few kB). On the server
side, I do see that ther server sends a TCP ACK to the PDA data (first part
of the mail header), but I dont receive further expected smtp traffic (that
should include 2nd part of the header and the message itself), althought
automatic programmated pop access traffic is seen. For the "short mails",
after the Server's TCP ACK, the PDA sends a TCP PUSH with the 2nd part of
the header and the message itself.
Does it make any sense tuning TCP/IP settings on the Windows Mobile 2003 SE
? If so, do you know if there is a way to tune thosesettings (MTU, MSS,...)
on the PDA ?
Any other suggestion ?
Regards
Jaime
