Hi,
Notes are stored as separate files. They are stored in the My Documents folder on the device. So when you choose to sync Files this will also include the notes and they are placed in a folder of your My Documents folder on your PC. Also, you can choose to sync the notes using the Notes function which will place them in Outlook in the correct folder.
There is no option to exclude file types to sync with your PC.

Hi,
I'm syncing Outlook 2007 on the PC with a PPC Pro 6 device O2 Stellar
(HTC TyTn). We also use Exchange.
Everything works fine except Outlook notes. I've chosen it under
tools, options to sync and it does fine. I've also chosen "Files" to
Sync as there a couple of files I'd like on device and PC.
I appear to get a copy of all my Outlook notes in the device\my
documents folder on the PC as well as in Outlook.
I just cannot undereatnd what is happening.
I'd understand if Outlook notes and device sync'd and if files and
files sync'd, but why do Notes end up on the device twice?
If I delete the Notes out of files - they go out of Outlook? What's
that all about?
What is the relationship between notes and the fMy Documents\notes
location?
cheers,
Richard
