Thanks.

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things, but don't hesitate to
check back in here (or toss me an email privately) if I can be of assistance.

Cheers!

Todd - I agree with you. There is a situation that is frustrating.
As I
said before (about my pickyness & cleanliness), I'm also very well
organized
and back up continually. In addition, I seperate everything and back
it
up
into seperate directories by calendar year. So, if someone sends me
an
e-mail and I need to reply, I can do 1 of 2 things. I can reply
immediately
(This is where the problem occurs)

How do you reply immediately? There is no provision to send from synced
Outlook email. Or do you also have the POP/IMAP account on the device?

and not be able to have that sent e-mail
sync to my Outlook sent folder, or I can reply and it be sent when I
sync
(sent from outlook on my PC). It would be nice for Microsoft to be
able
to
sync an e-mail that has been sent while out traveling. Did I make
myself
clear enough?

Yes, but again, if you use IMAP, your sent emails are all stored on the
IMAP server's sent folder, which could be copied to your Outlook sent
folder on your return (and probably automated by an Outlook rule, but
I've
never tried that.)

So, give the situation above, and someone askes me to forward
the reply, I need to check not only my PC for the communication, but
also
my
phone.

Again, with IMAP, the items in the server's folders can be copied to
your
Personal inbox for archiving.

And, what if my phone has a problem and doesn't work (which just
happened). That is lost!

I don't understand. If my phone can't send an email (i.e. I'm out of
service range) the unsent email just sits in the Outbox until the next
send/receive.

See my problem? How do I get that resolved?

Through a thorough and careful set up of IMAP, which seems to handle
all of
your needs quite well! IMAP was designed to allow functional email
usage
from multiple computers.
