You skipped the part I wrote after the "or"- INSTEAD of recreating the
partnership you could 'employ a dastardly trick to exploit another long-
time activesync weakness- since Activesync will only sync with the
default folders, I simply create a "temp" subfolder on the desktop and
move all the contacts to it (then do the same for the calendar, etc.)'

By temporarily moving all contacts (etc.) to a temp folder "invisible" to
the mobile device, the next sync cleans the device. Move them back and
resync.

P.S.- thanks for the Outlook 2k7 review- maybe I'll stall that upgrade a
little longer! ;-)
