cleaner, manually found and deleted remaining files, and 4.5 now installed
(es) no problem. When connect phone, RAPIMGR and WCESCOMM are running, but
when try to open ActiveSync WCESMGR will appear in running processes for a
second or two and closes. nothing appears on screen. Connection window is
available and shows connected. Can Explore, Add/Remove Programs and etc.,
and the connection is available via Network Connections. I have disabled
other network adapters, rebooted in safe mode and etc., but cannot isolate a
program or process that is blocking WCESMGR. I am running XP SP2, Mobile
6.0 (on HTC Tilt), and AS 4.5...and running out of ideas, help!
What files were left in registry to delete and what program did you
use to clean your registry? I have the same problem.
