Hi,
Did you check to make sure that the Exchange functionality (server name,
user name and password) in Activesync on your device is not setup? This is
only used when you sync with an Exchange server.
Also, if you want to sync with a Mac there are other solutions. However for
the PC there is no option to use another app because the developers do not
see a market competing with Microsoft.

I'm running Windows XP, NOT Vista, so Mobile Device Center is not an
option,
but at the same time, I've had so many issues with ActiveSync that I'd
like
to explore an alternative to this buggy software.
Any suggestions?
I'm going to install Intellisync tonight. I'm only looking sync my
Contacts/Calendar and Tasks.
I've just had so many issues and now I'm being told error code 85010001
and
that I can't sync with my exchange server but I don't HAVE exchange server
installed. Something has to sto the headaches.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
