Hey,
i have this problem, too.
it ís my first sync on this computer, but at other workstations the sync
works normally fast as at my home computer.

Hi,
Is this your first sync? If so it can take awhile to complete.

Also, you should be aware that ActiveSync will stay connected indefinitely
even if there is ni synchronization of data occuring.

Hi-

I've been using various verious of Activesync and different versions of CE
for many many years.

I'm running Windows XP and Office 2003. I was running a 3.x version of
Activesync with my Cingular SX66 running WM 2003 for two years - no
problems.

I recently got a new HTC advantage running WM5 and saw that I needed to
upgrade Activesync. I downloaded 4.5 - the devcie was recognized, a
partnership was created and it got to the point where it was saying
"synchronizing" and stayed there for over two hours with no movement.

I'm only asking Activesync to sync my calendar at this point to keep
things simple.

Hearing there were problems with 4.5, I downgraded to 4.2 and I am still
getting the same error. BTW, I can explore the mobile device via
activesync no problem - it just gets to "synchronizing" and stays there
forever.

Any help

Dez
