Windows Mobile Device Center does support synchronization with multiple PST files, but not simultaneously. In other words, if you have several PST files set up, when you connect your device and begin synchronization, you will be prompted to select one of the PST profiles with which to sync. Synchronization with multiple PST profiles simultaneously is not a feature of WMDC at this time.
Unfortunately, I do not believe that Intellisync supports functionality with Windows Vista or current version of Windows Mobile software.

Hello Christian,
Oh yes right.... in fact it was automatically installed as an online update as soon as my PDA was connected with the PC.
It is now part of the sync center, I guess so far everything is OK. But I don't find (advanced) options in order to select underlaying folders in pst files.
When trying to install my Intellisync software its says that Active Sync is missing.
Do you think I can do this with the Mobile Device Center?
Or any other solution?
Thanks for your assistance,
Perry

Have you used Windows Update to find and install 'Windows Mobile Device Center'? It initially appears as an update for your device driver. Windows Mobile Device Center is the replacement for ActiveSync in Vista.

"Perry Diels" <perry.diels@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:uupjbPMkHHA.4872@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxHello,
I work for quite some time (a couple of years) with Intellisync in order to
synchronise my PDA's (a WM2003 Mio 168 and a WM2005 QTek 9100) on Windows
XP. Intellisync communicates with the PDA via MS Active Sync. I need an
advanced sync solution like Intellisync because I need to sync different
folders from various Outlook PST files, not just the main profile. With
Intellisync that's no problem at all. But now I'm upgrading to Windows Vista
(fortunately I made a dual-boot, hence I can revert to XP Pro) and as far as
I know ActiveSync isn't any longer supported. Vista comes with a "nice" sync
center instead. However this might look more advanced then ActiveSync, one
still needs a third-party application in order to sync folders and other
powerfull features. My question is if someone knows a solution to this
problem. All suggestions are welcome such as:
- another application like Intellisync that works on Vista
- a workaround for Vista to use ActiveSync
- maybe it is possible to to advanced settings with Vista, but I don't see
it
- etc ... etc. ...
As long as I find a solution to this problem.
Thanks in advance,
Perry
