Under Control Panel ->Programs & Features try to repair the Windows Mobile
Device Center. See if that helps.

I recently installed Nokia PC Suite on Vista pc where has WMDM intalled.
WMDM now does not work correctly. When I use file explorer, it comes up
Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Manager. WpdException error. Can someone
advise any possible causes and fixes.
