OK, I removed the partnership and I'm still just timing out on my connection
before I can even restate the partnership.

Hi,
As part of the install it deletes the partnerships on the PC. It does not
delete them on the 8125. Open ActiveSync on the device and take a look at
the Options. There you should be able to delete the desktop partnership.
The default name is Windows PC.

Did you delete the old partnerships? By default ActiveSync 4.5 installs
and does not upgrade existing partnerships.

I suspect that it is a problem with the AS 4.5 and WMDC code. I
downgraded to XP Tablet yesterday and installed AS 4.5 and it wont
sync either... freezes and crashes. so I uninstalled 4.5 and went to
4.2 and it works great.

WMDC should not have left beta... 4.5 neither. Neither are ready for
primetime.
