Thank you Steve...I followed the instruction of the link...the 4155 tries to connect but fails and the message comes up the the device driver did not install...check with the device manufacturer. Do they mean HP? Do I reinstall activesync...do i Install adctive sync...whick version?

In order to sync a Windows Mobile device with Vista you need to install
Windows Mobile Device Center.
