Hi,
Beyond disk space there is a limit to the number of files in the root
directory of the CF card. For some cards it's as small as 128 files. So I
suggest that you delete some files and then create a folder and place the
files there. Directories do not have the same limitation - they are limited
by disk space on the number of files they can hold.

I have an HP Ipaq 2215. I bought a 2GB CF card today, hoping to use it as
an MP3 player. After copying about 530MB of files
on the CF card, when I attempt to copy more files, I keep getting the
above error. What's up with this?
Thanks
.
