Any OS update is a significant thing (and there are a number of OEMs to
consider, as they are actually the ones who would have to generate the right
OS for their particular device, a process over which Microsoft has no real
control). From the standpoint of requesting a change, probably complaining
to the device vendor is as good as any other method of starting things. I
would not expect a fix in the weeks to months time period, though.

I am glad to have independent confirmation of this.
This strikes me a severe and arbitrary limitation. How do we get
Microsoft
to respond and fix this. It also seems like it should be a relatively
"easy"
fix.

Hi,
Wildcard certs are not supported on Windows Mobile devices. There is no

Has anyone solved or submitted to MS a request to have Wildcard certs
work
on
PPC/WM for Active Sync? Or any cert where the URL doesn't match the CN
of
the cert?
This seems silly to us here.
