I'm still hoping for some additional suggestions as I think Exmerging his
mailbox and re-importing everything will accomplish the same thing, but more
efficiently.
Thanks,
Phil

Move all calendar items to a sub-folder in Exchange using Outlook on the
desktop.
Sync.
Move them back into the main folder in groups of 10 or 100 or something.
Syncing each time.
When you find a batch that doesn't sync, narrow down to the 1 or 2 items
that are causing problems. Delete these and re-create them.

Phil,
My bad - you are right, 2 weeks is the minimum. I was thinking of Inbox.
Regardless, if you can sync via USB then it is something else anyway.
Stumped me on this one... let me do some research and see if I can track
anything down.

Well, the minimum amount of time you can set it to sync is 2 weeks in
the past. I'm not aware of any way to stop it from synching events in
the future. If the corrupt calendar item is recurring, this wouldn't
resolve the issue anyway. Another oddity is the fact that I can set it
up to sync via USB and it will pick up his calendar w/o issue. The only
strange thing there is that it only brought over 164 items (vs. 192 when
trying to sync OTA).
I tried to determine which items in his calendar were corrupt by looking
at BackupExec. Since BackupExec will not backup corrupt items in
Exchange, I thought this would be the place to start. There were a few
entries, but deleting them from his calendar (they were too old to sync
anyway - from 2001) didn't resolve the issue.
I'm trying to avoid using Exmerge or exporting his whole calendar in
order to correct this issue. To me that will be a last resort.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Phil,
I think you are right: It must be a corruption in his calendar. Have
you tried to have it only sync up to a week or so? Not an ideal
solution but could help you narrow down the issue.

I'm setting up a user's Motorola Q to synch with our Exchange Server
(SP2). Everything is configured properly as I already have about 30
phones running off of the server. Everything on his account will sync
EXCEPT his calendar (email, contact, tasks are fine). It tries to
sync but I'm guessing there is either a corrupt calendar entry or
something in one of the entries that is causing it not to sync. Any
suggestions on how I can figure out which calendar entry is causing
the issue? It attmepts to sync the calendar - grabs first 100 items
and starts to process but shortly goes nowhere. Also, I can enter my
account info on the phone and it will sync w/o issue.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Phil
