Sorry to hear that you are frustated in Florida - but better that than Stuck
in Seattle :) - Kidding
Michael - at this point, I don't evern know where to start guessing from
since there are so many reasons Bluetooth pairing could fail. The other
Bluetooth dveices should not interfere with this. There must be something
that we are missing but without any detials of the error code, it's
impossible to dig deeper.
I would try the pocketpc.wireless newsgroup to see if there is soemthign
obvious we might be missing

Juggs - I tried that but after I checked discover and click apply it said
that an error occured but didn't give me an error code. I have several
blue
tooth devices including: mouse/keyboard, motorola headset with dongle
supporing the new a2dp. Would that cause an issue? At this point I can't
get past step 1.
thanks for your help. frustrated in Florida.

Micheal -- Here are the 3 steps I follow to get a partnership going:
Step 1 Set up a Bluetooth COM port
1. Open the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel.
2. On the Options tab, select Turn discovery on and Allow Bluetooth
devices
to connect to this computer.
3. On the COM Ports tab, click Add.
4. Select Incoming (device initiates the connection) and click OK.
5. Note the number of the COM port that was added. The COM port number
must
be no higher than 20.
6. Click OK to close the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel.
Step 2 Set up ActiveSync to use the Bluetooth COM port
1. In ActiveSync on the PC, on the File menu, click Connection Settings.
2. Select Allow connections to one of the following.
3. Choose the COM Port with the number you noted in Step 1 Set up a
Bluetooth COM port.
4. Click OK.
Step 3 Start Bluetooth sync from your device
1. In ActiveSync on the device, tap Menu, then tap Connect via Bluetooth.

I can't seem to get my 8125 to sync with my laptop. I have the
activesync
4.2 and running rom version 2.25.22.1 WWE on my 8125. When I try to
sych
via
the laptop it doesn't connect. The devices are paired. When I try to
sync
from the 8125 it keeps telling me that there isn't a partnership but
when
I
select yes to establish one my laptop is listed. I've created outgoing
com
ports and incoming com ports on the 8125 with no luck. I have multiple
com
ports being searched from the PC end as well. Can anyone help?
