Can't sync 2 PPCs to same computer

Help!!!
My wife and I both have the same Pocket PC. I use Outlook extensively for
work and have nearly 3000 contacts and a massive volume of emails,
appointments etc. She uses hers much less and just wants a simple,
uncluttered PPC with a few contacts and her latest emails.
How can we set up the system to allow both PPCs to sync with the same copy
of Outlook?
I have found something of a workaround by creating a separate user account
for her, then changing users and syncing to her device using Outlook as her
user -- but this takes many extra steps and is something of a pain, since
she doesn't need the other user account for any other reason.
Since ActiveSync 4.2 knows how to tell the two devices apart, there should
be a way to get it to sync with one Outlook folder when one PPC is plugged
in, and sync with a different Outlook folder when the other PPC is plugged
in.
The other option, I found online, was to label all of her contacts/appts/etc
with her name (no problem) and tell ActiveSync to only synchronise the
information having that particular label -- but AS doesn't give me the
option to do this.
Can anyone help me make this happen?
Thanks!
