When your device is cradled, the device will noty go to sleep actually. The
backlight might turn off - more like you closing your eyes but not going to
sleep.
You should still be able to sync to the exchange server while you are
cradled.

Here is what I woudl suggest you try --
1) Try to browse a webpage from the device while cradled to see if that
works
2) If you go to Activesync App, there is a connection Settings menu option
and check to see what the "my computer is connected to" field is set to?
3) Do you require a proxy to get to the internet from your desktop machine?
If yes, can you explicilty try to enter the proxy on your device and ten
change the Connection settings of the "my computer is connected to" field to
Work

Let me know your findings

Hi Juggs,

I didn't give enough informations I apologize.

I used an Smartphone with Mobile 2005.
It synchronize with Exchange(mails, calendar) and desktop (contacts and
favoris).
When synchronization is done, ActiveSync is going down but "still connect
on
the smartphone" I can see the second network interface (with APIPA
address)
on my desktop.

Goes to Internet through the USB or browse my SmartPhone from Explorer or
Desktop is not possible.

Goes to Internet through GPRS connexion is OK.

Denis--

So, Just so that I get your question right - while you are cradled you
cannot access the interbet from your mobile device? you cannot browse to
any
webpage? Is that the issue or after uncradling, and removing your device
from the USB connection, then your device gets into a state that you
cannot
access the internet via some other wireless protocol?

So long as your device is cradled (meanign that the Icon is Green), you
should be able to browse the internet via the USB connection through your
desktop.

Hi,

Question is simple, why am I unable (through the USB connection) to go
to
internet with my smartphone after it synchronize ?
As long as ActiveSync icon is green no problem but after, I am not able
to
browse my smartphone or to go to Internet.
