More empty inbox/calendar items problems!

Ok... this one has me stumped. I've been searching around and cannot
find anything relating to this exact issue, although I notice other
users have experienced the empty folders issue.

When performing a fresh install of a Windows 2005 PDA with Activesync
account settings, the sync'ing goes through as normal, "counting" all
items in each folder as it progresses and then completes with no
errors. However - all folders are empty, and the "count" of each
folder seems to double with each sync attempted.

eg: First pass shows 100 contacts, but on the second pass it doubles
to 200 (sometimes slighly more). No errors on either server side or
PDA side. Trying a different known working PDA from another provider
(O2 XDA Mini-S) gives same problems so suggests a server side issue,
although everything seems fine. Also tried syncing to another
exchange server which works fine with the "problem" PDA and this works
fine also, so definately a server side issue in my book.

All IIS settings, SSL cert settings, Permissions etc seem normal.

Can anyone else suggest something as I'm all out of ideas now.

:o(
